Amiability 

In embodying the counselor disposition of amiability, as a student counselor I have engaged in displaying compassion, kindness and embodying humility when working with clients, peers and professional staff. I have also reflected on these experiences with my supervision when situations have arose with clients expressing differing views and navigating appropriate approaches to stay cordial and calm presence. Learning to portray and display unconditional positive regard especially in circumstances that can be frustrating. In addition, I have also reflected on challenging experiences mindfully holding a safe space while embracing any possible mistakes that may arise and use these experiences as learning experiences.
