 Patience

Within my internship experiences I have often reflected on the counselor's disposition of patience with clients, peers and colleagues. In embodying this disposition not only have I grown patience for myself I have also learned the importance of respecting one's autonomy and fostering growth through all life experiences. In addition to embodying patience within my practice I have also encouraged promoting respect, flexibility, and self expression in all relational environments. Often within these experiences when challenges arise, maintaining a calm and encouraging manner have been supportive in fostering the practice of patience. Allowing the necessary safe space for experiences to evolve and grow through a calm manner have improved overall therapeutic and relational outcomes.

Quote

"This is a practice that I have embodied and hope to continue to carry on and model to my clients. "
